As we all know that Radio Frequencies are the invisible resources of human beings given my almighty creator for mankind. Today, Frequency Spectrum has become scarest commodities as its utilisation has increased in all sectors of services. Frequency Spectrum are used in broadcasting services, public and private communications, aircraft and ship traffic guidance, millitary applications, satellite communications, Mobile Phone, Wireless Broadband and a thousands other uses of the radio spectrum that has created increasingly high demand exceeds the supply of available usable frequency spectrum.
As a results, Microwave Radio Engineers and Researchers had to look towards new frontiers to expansion of useful radio spectrum in the area of Extreme High Frequency region of radio spectrum. MW Engineers and Researchers have finally found the way to utilise radio frequency as small as one millimeter to one centimeter wavelenghts with corresponding frequencies of 300,000 megacyles per second to 30,000 megacycles per second. This is almost near the light wave. However, there are challenges in using this EHF as it is susceptible to high atmospheric absortion despite of ability to transmit high capacity data transmission. Despite the limitation of transmission distance, MW Radio Engineers now managed to develope Radio Link Equipment called Millimeter Radio that can fill up the gap for high capacity last mile connectivity in the wireless network infrastructure as well as Ethernet Radio for IP Based WLAN infrastructure.
